Select a Design

This is where you can choose from a library of preset style sheets to pick background colours, font types etc. If the one you want is not in the library contact e@e-rm.org and we will quote for writing one for you.

So from your Admin Home page, select Task 2 "Select Your Design"

Once you have selected a design, you can "Preview Site", from the top of the right hand column of your admin home page.

This will show:-

This is effectively your first view of your blank website. We now need to tell the site where to display which functionality. Functionality is applied to the site using "Widgets" a generic name for "Web Tools".

In this case we have chosen a three column structure, and we will choose to have:-

• Navigation Menu on the Left (Navigation Widget)
• Pictures and Copy in the Centre (HTML Content Widget)
• Links and Small Surveys on the Right (Links and Embedded Surveys Widgets)

Note that when selecting a Widget you can choose it's position, Left, Right or Centre. And it's Order, that is it's vertical position. Order 1 will appear above Order 2.

We will set up this structure on the Homepage, and tick the box for repeating the structure on subsequent pages.

It is a simple matter to change functionality for subsequent individual pages.
