Contact Management Tutorial

This section is in development, however SugarCRM allows helps you to ensure that your team is following up the leads, that your marketing activity has generated, in an effective manner, and identifying where sales have fallen over. This enables you to keep track of activity, have an independent check and hence a higher level of confidence in your sales pipeline, train staff where there are problems, and generally take control of the management of your business, by getting staff to present to you based upon this data.

So how does this work?

It works by tracking the following stages :-

  • Allocate Lead to Salesman
  • Quantify estimate of £value and expected delivery date (Sales Pipeline)
  • Use your experience to put a % likelyhood of winning the sales
  • Progress through the following typical sales stages, at each stage your confidence level can be adjusted
  • Opportunity confirmed
  • Decision maker confirmed
  • Meeting set
  • Customer Needs identified
  • Price range identified
  • Competition quantified and strategy to win decided upon
  • Proposal presented
  • Value, Quality, Ability to deliver, Customer reference, etc proactively communicated
  • Close Sale
  • Sale Won
  • Sale Lost
