Lets us keep it simple to start off with, you will have a home page that tells people about your business then additional pages, one for each product or product group wehere you will talk about the benefits of each product . You may already have your marketing thought through in terms of benefits to target markets, if not please feel free to use our "Marketing Planner" tool to decide on your products their benefits and the target markets.
This is an initial step to get you up and running quickly. At this point it is worth bearing in mind that the Pages will eventually need to pass a number of Tests.
Put yourself in the mind of each target market and ask yourself :-
1/. Is this the right site for me?
2/. What do I do, where do I go next?
3/. How do I interact, find out more?
4/. Can I trust this brand sufficiently to part with some Cash, provide details etc?
In Summary this is a "Learn as you Grow" process. You will refine your understanding as you interact with your customers.
Start by listing your range of "Products" or "Areas of Customer Interests" and set up a page for each. If you have a view as to which target markets are interested in which products you might want to think about grouping those products together.
