Building a Marketing Database

This is really outside of the scope of this userguide. It is included for the sake of completeness, and as a focus for your activities so far, as the marketing database is where your data will be stored and your reporting functions will come from.

Think of it like this:-

The Pages of your website are your products

Those pages will be read by your target markets

The feedback they give on your surveys will tell you:-

  • How loyal they are
  • How likely they are to recommend you
  • What they need from a relationship with your brand

That is to say the Three life stages of a marketing database

  • Product Segmentation
  • Cross Selling and confirmation of target markets
  • Segmentation by Customer Needs

 

In essence there is some considerable skill in writing the surveys, and we are here to help in this area.
