Advanced Menu

This is the advanced section of the CareAbout Userguide. Already you should have a basic understanding of how the system works. This section is designed to take you further into the customisation of your website and adding a styles unique to you.

Let's start with the menu. You'll notice that beside the main options of the user interface of which you will be familiar with, there is a strip of options, which range from previewing your site to managing your broadcasts. This is the advanced menu.

The purpose of this menu is for the site creation process to be as smooth as possible, but also for speed of that creation.

Starting at the top, we have options for, previewing (which we have gone through already) editing your account and logging off. This is shown in the picture below:

If you click the "login details" button, this will allow you to change the registered email and password of your site should you wish the change them.

Advanced Options

The picture shown is of the bottom part of the advanced menu, which is the section after "Pages". You'll notice some familiar options, such as "Edit Header" and "Edit Footer" etc. One option you won't have come across yet is the "Edit CSS" amongst some few others.

Edit CSS - edit your Cascading Style Sheet (CSS).

CSS Colours - edit the colours of your site via CSS.

Manage Files - upload documents, images, files etc to put onto your site.

Manage Domains - connect domains that you have purchased.

Manage Structure - edit how your site is laid out.

Manage Surveys - create and embed surveys.

Manage Broadcasts - create and view statistics of email broadcasts.
