Supplementary Care     
Alternative therapy is also provided and Matron will gladly arrange private appointments for services such as chiropody, physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, nutrition and massage. Nursing staff and assistants are here to care for you whenever needed and will organise prescriptions, assist with baths or showers if required, conduct regular observations, arrange appointments with dentists, opticians or GPs when necessary and generally assist with any medical requirements.

Laundry    
This is conducted on site and the housekeeper will make any separate arrangements for dry cleaning, hand washing or clothing repairs.

Hairdressing    
Blanchelande Park provides its own hairdressing salon, which is open two days a week for appointments.

Post    
All post is delivered directly to your room and your letters can be left in reception for posting, where stamps can also be purchased.

Trolley Shop    
A weekly tour of the trolley is made, from which toiletries, sweets, cards etc. can be purchased and charged to your account.

Newspapers/Magazines    
Daily newspapers/magazines can be ordered via reception.

Transport     
Blanchelande Park has its own wheelchair enabled vehicle that enables us to extend the level of care we offer to residents, even when they are taken out. The Receptionist will also organise any personal taxis if requested, and every two weeks an escorted minibus outing is available.
